Hi, this blog is dedicated to Web standards & technologies. My main interest is shedding some light on certain selected topics. In general I'm always trying to provide tricks to overcome pitfalls. When that's not possible I at least try to set caveats to avoid the issues.
The scope of Web standards & tecnhologies is huge and in constant (or perhaps I should say accelerated) evolution. It's no doubt difficult to keep pace with it. Needless to say that trying to build a long term kowledge seems ilusory because in 5 years (or even much less) most things could have drastically changed due to some IT breakthrough.
Nevertheless, apart of all this Web standards & tecnhologies effervescence it's still possible to concentrate on some essential and stable points. These define a background path with hooks to experimentations depending on particular vision, interests, strategies and gambles.
I've been following the Unix path for a while and by far my prefered operating system is Solaris but I'm also focusing on porting some of the latest and greatest open-source software which could be relevant to that great Unix platform.
Bottom-line I'll be more-or-less trying to address key points on Web standards and technologies, focusing on open-source software and applying them to a Solaris which I consider the most stable and versatile platform for backing a modern web back-end infrastructure.
Welcome to my blog,
☺
